Installation and Deinstallation :: System requirements

For AntiVir PersonalEdition Classic to work perfectly, the computer system must fulfill the following requirements:

Operating system

• Microsoft Windows Server 2003 or

• Microsoft Windows XP Home or Professional or

• Microsoft Windows 2000 or

• Microsoft Windows NT 4  (Service Pack 6 , COMCTL32.DLL at least version 5.0) or

• Microsoft Windows Millennium Edition (Windows ME) or

• Microsoft Windows 98 SE or

• Microsoft Windows 98

Working memory

• 64 MB RAM (min. 128 MB recommended) for Windows 98, Windows 98 SE, Windows ME, Windows 2000, Windows NT 4

• 128 MB RAM for Windows XP

For all installations

Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher.

Other

Administration rights are required for initial installation of AntiVir PersonalEdition Classic.
